I am so grateful to my clients, colleagues, friends and family who have been so patient with my leave of absence. I have felt so much love from everyone’s texts, phone calls, and messages. Thank you for all of the love and support. I have been doing a lot of self-care and have found new perspective. I love doing hair and missed it so much but I feel as though I took on more than I could handle. I have decided to scale back by refocusing my specialties and energy. And as timing and luck would have it, I was offered an amazing opportunity at a new home in which to do hair at Headspace Salon and Coop. It is a very beautiful, loungey, holistic, and nurturing environment. This salon describes itself as a “haven for the stylists, dreamers, artists, creators and makers of Austin, Texas”. It is locally owned and operated by my friend Laura North who is a Cosmetologist that I worked next to for a year and a half at Joel Ray Salon. She is an amazing person and she and her team have been so warm and welcoming. I am slowly easing back into it and taking it one day at a time. I am so grateful to the people and the places that lead me to where I am now. I feel like I am finally in the right Headspace.

My hours are Wednesday – Friday 10 AM – 6PM.

I am refocusing my specialties to do mostly extensions, color services, and simple haircuts (like basic trims or blending extensions). My prices are going up a little and I will be now be charging for add-on services such as deep conditioning treatments, base bumps, toners, glazes, additional hot tool styling etc.
