Welcome to my blog about what it is like to be a hairstylist in Austin, Texas. I post regular updates about booking, beauty tips, current events at my salon, and beauty trends. Join me on my journey!

I am a native Austinite. I feel like the trends in Austin are all about looking effortless and celebrating natural beauty. This is my goal when taking care of my clientele. I find that I tend to do more natural looks on people versus anything too forced, too trendy, or wild. I’m more of a stylist for people looking for classic looks with a slight edge. My clientele is mostly women but I do have some men and kids who see me that typically have longer hair or color their hair. I like to take my time with each client so I can thouroghly hear their needs, pamper them, set goals, and get on a regular maintenance plan. I am very passionate about education for my self and my clients. I want to make sure we are keeping up with the latest trends and the most efficient techniques. I believe that the prettiest hair is healthy hair. Integrity and choosing the best products is key.

A lot of my regular clients prebook months in advance or set standing appointments. I recommend booking about a month in advance to get the days and times that work best for you. I am more than happy to accommodate so please feel free to reach out to me if you have any booking issues.

I feel so lucky to be able to do cutting and coloring behind the chair because it is creative outlet and it is very therapeutic for me to be artistic for work. I can be flexible with my schedule if I need to but I do have a 24 Hour Cancellation Policy. 48 hours to a week’s notice is preferred if possible. I do this to serve you better. It is very rare for me to cancel on my clients. Since I started doing hair in 2009, I have never once called in sick. I am not sure if I have a super human immune system but I always show up no matter what. Consistency and customer service are the foundation that I have built my business upon.
