Amika Perk Up is my favorite Dry Shampoo because it is very fine in consistency. Not very much texture. When it dries it feels like eyeshadow  *sold in salon at Headspace

Amika Bust Your Brass is my favorite purple shampoo. It’s the best for eliminating brassy tones on your roots. Not too mild and not too concentrated.

Amika Bust Your Brass is my favorite purple conditioner. It’s the best for eliminating brassy tones on your ends.

My favorite deep conditioners are Amika Soulfood for moisturizing and The Kure for strengthening. I like to buy the travel sizes and alternate.

I also love the The Wizard for a detangling primer. It’s a leave in conditioner and very moisturizing. I would only use it on the mud shaft to ends because it’s  a little oily. Not scary though, the hair absorbs it. It’s a great heat protectant too before blow drying.

I really like the Flexxus touchable hairspray because it has a light hold. You can spray it on your hair before and after styling. It can be layered for extra hold and you can still run a brush through it. *sold in salon at Headspace

the Un.done is an awesome volume and matte texture spray. I like using it before I tease my hair and when I am braiding. It has a courser texture to it compared to the Perk Up Dry Shampoo mentioned above.

Lastly, I would like to add the Silken Up. It is a dry conditioner spray which is great for our ends and extensions. I like to spray it on 2nd and third day hair to feel fresh and give my ends a little love.

Feel free to reach out to me for consultation so if you’d like any other recommendations. I love all their products but I just mentioned a handful of my favorites 💗

Hair Accessories

Velvet Scrunchies are a must have accessory

Tools

Wet Brush – Go Green Detangler is the gentlest brush ever. If you prefer a basic black Wet Brush, we sell them at Headspace*

Ergo round brushes are my favorite for blow outs

Usmooth Revolution is my favorite, most durable, and practical blow dryer I’ve ever used

Babyliss is my favorite brand for a Flat Iron – I love the narrower blade for getting closer to the scalp

The Curling Iron  I love the most is by BioIonic. The barrel is much longer which allows you to curl more hair which makes it go faster. Another perk about the longer barrel is that you can pull it out easier to keep your ends straighter. The aesthetics are pleasing because of the all black design. I like both the 1 inch and 1.25 inch. It just depends on if you prefer tighter or looser curls.

Satin or Silk Pillow Cases are always a good idea *sold in salon at Headspace Salon and Coop  (You can find cheaper ones on Amazon too, they are not as cute nor handcrafted locally)

Deva Curl microfiber towels are the gentlest and most absorbent towels ever. They don’t rough up your cuticle which helps decrease frizz.
